Analysis of a Collection of Dukngal Rangdrol Rituals
In this blog we present a translation of the table of contents of a liturgy or collection of rituals published at Dodrupchen Monastery of the Natural Liberation of Suffering (Dukngal Rangdrol) cycle of the Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse (Longchen Nyingtik). Whenever a translation is available we have also added links. The purpose of this is to give an idea of the different texts that are available to Tibetan speakers. Many of these texts consists of rituals that are performed for the dead, such as the Guidance Practice (nedren). The original Tibetan text can be found at BDRC.

Among the sūtras, tantras and pith instructions there are many practices of the Great Compassionate One. The practice texts here however contain the extraordinary Secret Practice of The Great Compassionate One, Natural Liberation of Suffering. It was the first among the teachings of the sky treasury or mind termas of the glorious Khentse Özer Jigme Lingpa, who is so amazing that it is difficult to even pronounce his name (yet we have to write his name here anyway).
