For the Longchen Nyingtik Project to be successful, we are in need of funds to support the translators and editors, make offerings to the Rinpoches, Tulkus, and Khenpos who assist us in the translations, and manage the project. We also need funds to make time available for research, buy books, and for things like maintaining the website.
Anāthapiṇḍada, together with his wife Viśākhā, was one of the Buddha's main patrons and chief lay disciple. As depicted on the sculpture, he bought Jetavana grove by covering it with coins and offered it to the Buddha and the Saṅgha
How you can support this project
We have chosen for Patreon as a platform for gathering funds. By supporting us every month through Patreon, you will be contributing to the ongoing translation of the Core Texts of the Longchen Nyingtik. Each month we will dedicate the funds we have received to selected translations, starting with those that have the highest priority. Obviously, it is the length of any given text that will determine the length and cost of its translation.
