Report December 2025: Gyuluk Lineage & Concise Dupung Zilnon
This month we published four new texts, two in English and two in French.
With several Khyentse incarnations present in France in December, presiding over a Vajrakilaya drupchen, we felt it auspicious to publish the lineage prayer for Jigme Lingpa's Tantric System Vajrakilaya (Gyuluk Phurba): The Chariot of Blessings: A Prayer to the Lineage of the Tantric System Vajrakīlaya, by Jigme Lingpa. This lineage prayer for the Tantric System Vajrakīlaya invokes the masters of all the various lineages of Vajrakīlaya, including the King's tradition, the tradition of the Lady and Queen, and the Nanam tradition, as well as such accomplished masters as Darchar and Jigme Lingpa himself.

Continuing our Vajrakilaya series, we published A Very Simple Practice Manual for the Awesome Vajrakīlaya: Overpowering the Forces of Māra (Dupung Zilnon), by Dorje Düdul. This concise and yet complete practice of Vajrakīlaya: Overpowering the Forces of Māra was compiled based on the original treasure and elements from Jigme Lingpa's Tantric System Vajrakilaya (Gyüluk Phurba). Dorje Düdul or Karing Ngakchang Dorje Düdul (ka ring sngags 'chang rdo rje bdud 'dul, 19th C.) was born in Amdo, in Dome (mdo smad), among the Rebkong Ngakpas and studied with Dola Jigme Kalzang, Drubwang Pema Rangdrol, and Shabkar Tsokdruk Rangdrol, among others. He became particularly proficient in the practice of Yamāntaka and founded the monastery of Pema Chöpel Ling (pad+ma chos 'phel gling) in Drakar (brag dkar) and wrote several texts for the Longchen Nyingtik Vajrakīlaya and Yamāntaka sādhanas.[1]
