Report May 2025: Kīlaya Guardians & Yumka Aspiration
This month we published two new translations, a short offering to Vajrakīlaya and a Yumka aspiration prayer.
The Concise Offering to the Oath-Bound Guardians of Vajrakīlaya was written by the First Dodrupchen, Jigme Trinle Özer, specifically for when offerings are accumulated.
Our second text is a very special Yumka Aspiration by Nyangral Nyima Özer. This prayer is found as an appendix to The Blissful Path to the Celestial Realm, an Activity Manual for the Practice and Worship of noble Vajrayoginī the Black Wrathful Lady, Nyangral Nyima Özer’s Tröma Nakmo (khros ma nag mo) practice, as arranged by Minling Lochen Dharmaśrī (1654–1717/18), and is still used today for such practices as the Yumka Dechen Gyalmo of the Longchen Nyingtik.
Our translation of Dola Jigme Kalzang’s Words of the Siddhas, How to Practice the Heart-Essence of the Vast Expanse has also been translated into French: Les instructions orales des siddhas, Comment pratiquer l’Essence du cœur de l’immensité; and into Portuguese: Palavras dos Siddhas: Como Praticar a Essência Condensada da Vasta Expansão, for which we want to thank Vincent Thibault and Sergio de Senna Correa.
