This month we published 2 new translations in English and 2 in French.

Our first text is Enjoying the Feast and Sacred Accomplishment Substances, by the Fourth Dodrupchen, Tupten Trinlé Palzangpo. This compilation is based on the works of Jigme Lingpa and includes several famous liturgies and prayers to be recited during feast gatherings. Some of the cited texts are widely used in Nyingma and Sarma traditions, while others are more specific to the Nyingma, such as Longchenpa's 'yoga of food' prayer.

Dzagyal Khenchen Bumthar

Our second text is a short Prayer to Dzagyal Khenchen Bumthar, composed by the master himself. Khenchen Bumthar (c.1925–2000) was an important figure at Dzagyal Monastery, originally founded around the area where Jigme Gyalwe Nyugu and Patrul Rinpoche did retreat. Later the monastery was taken care of by their incarnations, namely Patrul Namkha Jigme (1888–1960), Tsamtrul Rinpoche Kunzang Dechen Dorje (ca.1845-ca.1925), and his son, Patrul Jiga (Jigme Wangpo).

• Le discernement minutieux des dharmas : Catalogue des œuvres intégrales de l’Omniscient Roi du Dharma, Rigdzin Jigmé Lingpa, par Guétsé Mahāpaṇḍita Gyourmé Tséwang Chokdroup. Guétsé Mahāpaṇḍita a écrit ce catalogue des œuvres réunies de Jigmé Lingpa à l’occasion de leur publication à Dergué en 1802, ou peu près. Il offre d’abord une biographie de Jigmé Lingpa, puis présente les mécènes qui ont financé l’impression (le roi et la reine de Dergué) et celui qui a encouragé le projet de publication (Dodrupchen Jigmé Trinlé Özer). Vient ensuite le catalogue proprement dit. On y trouve la liste de tous les écrits de Jigmé Lingpa, à l’exception des textes rattachés aux révélations du Longchen nyingtik, lesquels font l’objet d’un catalogue distinct par Jigmé Losal Özer.

• Instruction essentielle pour restaurer les ruptures et détériorations de samaya, révélée par Jigmé Lingpa. Ce court texte présente une méthode simple pour restaurer les bris et dégradations des liens sacrés (samaya).
